Job summary

Amazon Data Services Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Engineer to lead critical infrastructure operations and risk mitigation in AWS data centers.

The role focuses on maintenance planning, incident response, and vendor management within a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. You will collaborate with IT, Networking, Safety and Security teams to drive reliability, safety, and efficiency while maintaining high standards of operational performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in electrical, mechanical, HVAC or fire systems in a data center or critical space facility.
• Basic understanding of Service Management systems (Problem and Change).
• Ability to participate in a 24x7 rotating shift roster.

Responsibilities

• Ensure electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment operate within contract parameters in the data center.
• Act as site point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage on-site contractors, vendors and sub-contractors per practices and local legislation.
• Capture performance metrics, generate reports and support change and incident management.
• Coordinate projects with IT, Networking, Logistics, Safety and Security teams to improve capacity and efficiency.
