Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, facilities management, or construction services
• 1–2 years of experience in operating mechanical services within a critical facility or data-center environment (Tier III or equivalent preferred)
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and incident response
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and technical reporting
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms and mechanical asset management tools

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, including HVAC, AHU/FCU units, chilled water systems, pumps, motors, compressors, piping, and mechanical plant equipment
• Monitor mechanical system performance to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime
• Respond to mechanical faults, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions
• Oversee mechanical-related work orders, ensuring timely completion within agreed KPI thresholds
• Coordinate with OEM vendors and contractors for specialized mechanical servicing
• Support minor mechanical project activities, including equipment upgrades and system enhancements
• Ensure mechanical maintenance tasks comply with all company, client, and statutory standards
• Manage and track vendor performance, ensuring quality delivery of mechanical services
• Validate service reports, quotations, and invoices for mechanical work
• Create and manage recurring maintenance schedules for mechanical vendors
