Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to manage day-to-day mechanical and electrical systems in a critical environment. You will supervise maintenance partners, ensure regulatory and client standards, and drive continuous improvement across building assets.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and 3–4 years in engineering or critical environments, with 1–2 years in Tier III data centres.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical or operational engineering.
• 3-4 years in engineering or critical environment space.
• 1-2 years operation of mechanical services in Tier III or equivalent data centre or critical facility.
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and improve machinery, equipment and building infrastructure.
• Execute and supervise preventive and reactive maintenance work.
• Conduct facilities/equipment/machinery/safety inspections for compliance with regulations and standards.
• Provide input to and manage expenditures within operating budgets.
• Participate in procurement processes.
• Develop, adapt and follow procedures to ensure client service delivery and satisfaction.
• Foster positive interactions with clients and stakeholders.
• Facilitate training of Technical Operations staff to ensure service delivery and compliance.
• Promote continuous improvement culture and safe working environment.
• Identify, assess and control risks (safety, environmental, operational).
