Job summary

Upscale in Malaysia is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Solutions Engineer to work with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose robust DC infrastructure solutions. You will provide pre-sales technical support and prepare proposals, diagrams, and BOQs.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, has 3+ years in data center design, and possesses deep knowledge of UPS, busway, PDU, cooling, containment, and cable management, with AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in data center or electrical infrastructure design.
• Strong knowledge of UPS, Busway, PDU, cooling, containment, and cabling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio or similar tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose appropriate Data Center infrastructure solutions.
• Provide detailed technical support and product recommendations during the pre-sales process.
• Prepare technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, BOQ (Bill of Quantity), and proposals.
• Customize solutions involving UPS, PDU, Track Busway, Racks, Containment Systems, and cable management according to project requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure compatibility and integration of offered products.
• Conduct customer presentations, product demos, and technical workshops.
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies related to data center infrastructure.
