Amazon Data Services Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. invites students and graduates to join the Data Center Engineering Operation (DCEO) team for a six‑month assignment.

You will gain hands‑on exposure to critical facility systems and work on real-world infrastructure projects in a fast‑paced cloud environment. The program targets graduates in electrical or mechanical engineering, with strong communication skills and a willingness to rotate on 24/7 shifts.

Qualifications

• Basic technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, HVAC or fire systems in critical facilities.
• Willing to work in a 24 x 7 rotating shift roster, or on-call basis.
• Expected graduation in 2027 or graduated within the past 24 months.
• Candidates must be able to legally work in Malaysia.
• Excellent communication skills in Malaysian and English, both written and verbal.

The Infrastructure Operations (Data Center) Team is the backbone of AWS, supporting the rapidly growing AWS business and customers 24/7. We are committed to maintain the physical infrastructure of AWS, ensuring the standards for operational performance in the areas of safety, security, availability, productivity, capacity, efficiency, and cost.

Data Center Engineering Operation (DCEO) is seeking for individuals who are motivated, self-starter, eager to learn, passionate and committed to join us. You will spend 6 months on the assignment and by the end of it, your progression may be evaluated to see if you have what it takes to join our successful team and be a full time Amazonian.

This is a 6-months assignment with opportunity to apply to the Regular full time position after.
