Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Controls Engineer for the APAC CDS team to deploy and support data center control systems, including BMS and EPMS, ensuring health, reliability and security of our facilities.

The role requires 3+ years vendor management, 4+ years in data centers or critical environments, 5+ years in engineering or operations, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. This is an on-site opportunity with global deployment exposure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of vendor management experience.
• 4+ years of data center or other critical environment experience.
• 5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Deployment of data center controls, on time, with effective management of vendors to ensure minimal defects at the point of PFHO.
• Delivery of critical projects to upgrade data center automation.
• Service and support provided to partner teams, providing diagnosis and resolution of LOV, LOR, LSE, CSE, and other operations impacting events.
• Resolution of tasks within predefined SLAs.
• Delivery of further initiatives to improve efficiency of data centres or operations procedures.
