Job summary

JDA WMS in Malaysia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the commissioning from pre-commissioning through final handover, ensuring systems meet design, standards and project requirements.

You will develop commissioning plans, coordinate activities, perform site inspections, review drawings, and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in commissioning of electrical systems in data center projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, testing procedures, and regulatory/compliance standards.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good coordination and project management abilities.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skill

Responsibilities

• Lead the commissioning process from pre-commissioning through to final handover.
• Develop, manage, and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Coordinate commissioning activities and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
• Oversee testing of systems and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications, regulatory standards, and project requirements.
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure designs meet operational requirements.
• Review project documentation (drawings, specifications, manuals) to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to commissioning.
