Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies is seeking an experienced Data Architect with strong banking domain expertise to lead data modelling, governance and integration across large-scale platforms.

The role involves collaborating with business and technology teams, ensuring regulatory alignment and delivering scalable data solutions for banking clients.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise banking data models.
• Strong understanding of customer, account, transaction, product, risk and regulatory data domains.
• Experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling for banking platforms.
• Experience with large-scale banking data platforms, data warehouses or data lakes.
• Familiarity with Malaysia banking regulations and local financial services data requirements.

• Databricks and cloudera knowledge preferred
• Migration good to have
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing enterprise banking data models is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of customer, account, transaction, product, risk, and regulatory data domains.
• Experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling for banking platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data governance, data quality, and master data management.
• Experience working with large-scale banking data platforms, data warehouses, or data lakes.
• Familiarity with Malaysia banking regulations and local financial services data requirements is preferred.
• Strong experience collaborating with business, technology, data engineering, and architecture teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data architecture.
• Banking data model experience in the Malaysian banking ecosystem is highly desirable.
