Job summary

Zempot Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a data analyst focused on online table game data analysis to improve fairness and player experience. You will leverage SQL, Excel, and BI tools to derive actionable insights and support fraud detection efforts.

Ideal candidates have experience with Python or R, strong analytical thinking, and good English communication skills. Prior gaming industry exposure is a plus, with opportunities to contribute to Southeast Asia market initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL is required.
• Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Solid understanding of data analysis and basic statistics.
• Experience in the table games industry is preferred.
• Experience with Python, R, or other data analysis tools is advantageous.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with fraud detection or abuse monitoring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze game data to identify patterns, trends and correlations.
• Identify and classify normal vs. suspicious player accounts (e.g., abuse, bots, fraud).
• Investigate abusive behaviors and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Document data analysis processes to ensure reproducibility and clarity.
