Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Cybersecurity Test Engineer to join our software engineering team. You will analyze requirements and design specifications, develop test procedures based on cybersecurity requirements, and maintain test scripts for our mission-critical products.

Collaborate with front-end, hardware, and software engineers to ensure cybersecurity coverage, manage defects, and build automated tests and tools, leveraging AI where possible to optimize test cases

Qualifications

• 1–2 years working experience; fresh grads welcome.
• Bachelor degree in Information Science, CE or Software Engineering.
• Knowledge in Python, Javascript, Angular, C or C#.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, design specifications, system topology and develop test procedures based on cybersecurity requirements/ specification, maintain/update test procedures.
• Perform cybersecurity system integration tests of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency.
• Collaborate with front-end architects, hardware engineers, SW developers, and other stakeholders for cybersecurity coverage.
• Analyze, submit and manage defects.
• Develop, enhance, troubleshoot and maintain test tools for cybersecurity tests.
• Leverage AI to optimize test cases/scripts development and product functionality.
• Work on CI/CD automation and IaC testing; improve automation efficiency.
