Job summary

Bright Nexus (M) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Solution Specialist (Cybersecurity) to deliver client security solutions on site. You will lead requirement gathering through workshops, provide cybersecurity advisory on monitoring, threat detection and best practices, and design, implement, and maintain SIEM-based solutions.

Collaborate with customers, project teams and vendors across the full lifecycle, performing research and sharing knowledge while ensuring alignment with security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum four (4) years in cybersecurity with at least two (2) years hands-on in SIEM or similar tech.
• Strong understanding of security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, data protection and best practices.
• Familiar with log collection/ parsing, correlation rules, dashboards, alerts and incident investigation.
• Advisory capability on SIEM architecture, monitoring strategies, and data protection policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution and delivery of cybersecurity solutions to customers.
• Gather requirements through workshops and technical discussions to understand business and security needs; provide advisory on monitoring and best practices.
• Design, implement, configure and maintain cybersecurity solutions; develop and support project-wide information security solutions and policies.
• Collaborate with customers, project teams and vendors through the project lifecycle; conduct technical research and share knowledge.
