Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Shah Alam is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence professional to monitor and analyse external cyber threats, produce actionable reports, and assist the Incident Response team. The role focuses on leadership-ready briefs and quarterly trend analyses for clients.

The role involves triaging data from multiple sources, developing intelligence products, and briefings for leadership, with a minimum 24–36 months in Threat Intelligence required.

Qualifications

• Must have 24–36 months of Threat Intelligence experience.

Responsibilities

• Triage data of events from multiple sources – commercial, internal and open source.
• Provide strategic advisory on complex real-world security problems.
• Intelligence preparation based on inputs from Incident Response, Threat Hunting, Security Operation Center and Read teams.
• Provide analytic case support to investigations.
• Development of intelligence reports and briefings.
• Research and produce intelligence products.
• Develop, maintain and execute threat communication processes and expertise.
• Demonstrate and apply subject matter expertise in a variety of information security disciplines.

Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) - Shah Alam

The Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team monitors and analyses external cyber threats to our clients. The

team creates actionable reports, awareness materials, and works with Incident Response team. Regular

and ad-hoc reports are aimed at leadership and decision makers, and focus on specific breaches, threats

and vulnerabilities. Periodic (often quarterly) reports analyze trends in breaches and threats, and also

look forward at the future threat landscape for particular parts of client’s business.

Responsibilities

• Triage data of events collected from multiple sources – commercial, internal and open source
• Provide strategic advisory on complex real-world security problems
• Intelligence preparation based on inputs from Incident Response, Threat Hunting, Security Operation Center and Read teams
• Provide analytic case support to investigations
• Development of intelligence reports and briefings
• Research and produce intelligence products
• Develop, maintain and execute threat communication processes and expertise
• Demonstrate and apply subject matter expertise in a variety of information security disciplines both technical and non-technical
• Curate relationship with trust groups across the industry and threat intelligence community
• Ability to prioritize work, collate information from various sources, and move swiftly towards strong analytical conclusions
