Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking an experienced Customer Process Engineer to support data communication customers.

You will serve as a technical liaison, ensuring TE products are integrated into customer manufacturing environments and driving product performance by bridging TE product development with customer needs in high-speed interconnects and connectivity solutions. You will conduct joint design reviews, translate customer processes to TE design teams, and develop application specs.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering required, 6-10 years design/field experience.
Experience with design reviews, tolerance analysis and root cause problem-solving.
Experience in PPAP and production startup.
Proficiency in Creo, Ansys, and test lab equipment.

Responsibilities

Act as a technical liaison between TE and customers to ensure integration of TE products into customer manufacturing environments.
Conduct joint design reviews during product development cycles to define design objectives.
Translate customer assembly processes to TE product design teams and help craft application specs.
Provide customer application training and develop application notes or documentation.
Provide onsite support during multiple NPI stages and feedback to TE design engineers.
