Job summary

eco-shop in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a cashier to provide excellent customer service, assist with purchases, and address inquiries. You will handle cash and card transactions, balance the cash drawer, and monitor stock to prevent shortages.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, hygienic counter and reporting equipment issues. The role requires basic math, flexibility to work shifts including weekends and public holidays, and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• High School/SPM/Diploma or equivalent with basic math.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Attention to detail for handling transactions and monitoring stock.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with customers.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Willing to work at Bukit Anggerik, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with purchases and inquiries.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and balance the cash drawer.
• Accurately handle transactions, manage the cash register, and monitor stock effectively.
• Check counter equipment daily and report issues for repair or replacement.
• Keep the counter clean, tidy, and hygienic for a pleasant shopping experience.
• Monitor and replenish counter stock to avoid shortages.
