Job summary

ECO-SHOP Marketing Berhad (Retail) is hiring a cashier to provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and monitor stock while maintaining a clean counter area at the Skudai, Johor location.

The role requires basic math, good communication, and flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Training will cover cash handling procedures and POS usage to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School/SPM/Diploma or equivalent with basic math
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
• Attention to detail for handling transactions and monitoring stock
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures
• Strong communication skills for engaging with customers
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Willing to work at Taman Impian Emas, Skudai, Johor

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with purchases and addressing inquiries.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and balance the cash drawer.
• Accurately handle transactions, manage the cash register, and monitor stock effectively.
• Check counter equipment daily and report any issues for repair or replacement.
• Keep the counter clean, tidy, and hygienic to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Monitor and replenish counter stock, to avoid shortages.
