Job summary

eco-shop Malaysia is seeking a customer-oriented cashier to assist shoppers with purchases and inquiries, and to ensure accurate cash handling.

You will balance the cash drawer, monitor stock, check counter equipment daily, keep the counter clean and hygienic, and work shifts including weekends and public holidays. This role offers an attractive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School/SPM/Diploma or equivalent with basic math.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Attention to detail for handling transactions and monitoring stock.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with customers.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with purchases and inquiries.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and balance the cash drawer.
• Balance the cash drawer and ensure cash accuracy throughout shifts.
• Monitor stock and replenish counter stock to avoid shortages.
• Check counter equipment daily and report any issues for repair or replacement.
• Keep the counter clean, tidy, and hygienic for a pleasant shopping experience.
