Responsibilities

• Make telephone calls to various departments and receive incoming calls from external parties, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain professional conduct and proper telephone etiquette at all times.
• Make internal public address (PA) announcements, including safety announcements, staff birthday announcements, missing child alerts within the premises, and the latest updates or information for customers and staff.
• Record and maintain all incoming and outgoing documents handled by courier services.
• Handle Meriah Card services, including registration, renewal, card replacement, and reward point redemption, while ensuring all related documents are updated and properly filed.
• Count petty cash before and after each shift and ensure the cash balance matches the Meriah Card sales report.
• Understand and manage the Maybank TreatPoints programme.
• Assist customers with product exchanges and issue vouchers when necessary.
• Assist customers with lost property enquiries.
• Record items left behind by customers after payment or items left at the bag counter.
• Process store utility bills.
• Understand, handle, and resolve customer complaints and enquiries professionally.
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.
