Citi is seeking a high-caliber professional to join its Securities Services team in Kuala Lumpur as a Custody Operations Asset Services Analyst. This trainee role offers on-the-job training and exposure to senior leaders while you develop core custody and asset servicing skills.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years related experience, a relevant degree, and strong communication under pressure. You will work in a fast-paced environment supporting transaction services and asset servicing duties.

We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Custody Operations Asset Services Analyst (Internal Job Title: Asset Servicing Analyst 1 - C09) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this role, you’re expected to:

• The Asset Servicing Analyst 1 is a trainee professional role.
• Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based.
• Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.
• Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents.
• Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity.
• Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• 2+ years related experience
• Relevant Degree or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail and intermediate problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
