Job summary

PERCETAKAN MUN SUN SDN BHD is seeking a CTP operator to produce printing plates in accordance with job specifications in a production environment. You will check artwork, monitor plate quality, and handle plate processing from start to finish while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in printing/CTP, familiarity with offset and prepress processes, and the ability to work under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent; certificate/diploma in printing technology or related field is an added advantage.
• 1–2 years of experience in printing, prepress, or CTP operations.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge may be considered.
• Knowledge of offset printing and prepress processes.
• Familiarity with CTP equipment and workflow systems.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and understand production job orders.
• Good attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate CTP machines to produce printing plates according to job specifications.
• Check artwork files and ensure correct output before plate making.
• Monitor plate quality and ensure compliance with production standards.
• Handle plate processing, plate punching, and plate bending where required.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and maintenance.
• Report machine breakdowns or quality issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain proper records of plate production and material usage.
• Ensure plates are delivered to the printing department according to the production schedule.
• Follow all company safety procedures and housekeeping requirements.
• Assist in other production-related tasks as assigned by management.
