Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a technology leader to define and execute the company-wide technology strategy, architecture roadmap and investment priorities. You will lead software engineering across architecture, development, QA, DevOps, cloud infrastructure and release management.

You will drive modern engineering practices including cloud-native architecture, microservices, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automation and observability, providing technology leadership for client projects and pre-sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Experience leading large engineering teams and technology strategy.
• Proven track record delivering AI/ML or data platforms into production.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology strategy, architecture roadmap and investment priorities.
• Lead software engineering across architecture, development, QA, DevOps, cloud infra and release management.
• Drive modern engineering practices including cloud-native, microservices, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automation and observability.
• Provide technology leadership for client projects, solution architecture, pre-sales, RFP/RFQ responses and technical proposals.
• Lead AI, data and automation strategy from POC to production.
• Build and scale a high-performing engineering and data organisation.
• Manage technology budgets, vendors, cloud spend and KPIs.
• Own security, cyber resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery and compliance.
• Ensure alignment with PDPA, ISO/IEC 27001 and regulatory requirements.
• Act as trusted tech advisor to C-level clients, partners and Board.
