Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Cross-Border Payments Operations Manager to oversee daily payment operations across multiple markets, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and service excellence. You will monitor transaction flows, manage operational risk, and work with product, compliance, engineering and business teams to support ongoing operations and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in payment operations, transaction processing, reconciliation, or financial operations.
• Background within fintech, payments, banking, e-wallets, remittance, or financial services environments.
• Strong understanding of local and cross-border payment ecosystems.
• Experience managing operational risk, compliance requirements, and service quality standards.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and regions.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including team coordination and operational project management.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of performing under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
