Job summary

ABB Smart Buildings in Malaysia (Petaling Jaya) invites a Technical Promotion - Critical Power Specialist to lead promotional activities for target segments and build long-term customer relationships. You will educate designers, consultants and customers on ABB products, perform electrical calculations, and support pre-sales with design advice.

With a minimum 5 years in electrification or industrial solutions, you will collaborate across marketing, sales and segment teams, drive demand

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or technical promotion within electrification, building automation, or industrial solutions.
• Strong background in account management and customer development with long-term relationships.
• Solid foundation in electrical engineering with a network in building, residential or smart power segments.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement proactive promotional activities to create market demand for ABB products and tools.
• Provide customer support by answering technical questions and advising on designs.
• Deliver training interventions to educate the target audience on ABB offerings.
• Troubleshoot post-sales issues for products and solutions sold.
• Drive demand generation for Critical Power solutions in key segments.
• Support pre-sales with design expertise and collaborate with product marketing and segment teams.
• Manage portfolio growth and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
