Job summary

Monee, a leading digital payments provider in Southeast Asia, is hiring a Creative Lead to elevate creative quality and build a scalable system across channels. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of designers, video editors, and copywriters, ensuring assets are on-brand and delivered with speed.

The role requires an agency or brand background, a strong portfolio, and mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years in agency or brand environments, leading or core team member on integrated work across visual design, video, and copy.
• Strong portfolio showing cross-media creative direction; agency background preferred; award-winning teams a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; design tools experience a bonus.
• Experience with brand systems, templates, processes, and high-volume multi-channel production.
• Excellent copy leadership across banners, CRM or push, social, and video scripts.
• Solid understanding of digital platforms and paid media specs for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and CRM.
• Experience coaching multidisciplinary teams to align creative with objectives and timelines.
• Strong communication; leadership experience is a plus.
• Fast-paced, decisive, hands-on leadership style with clear direction.

Responsibilities

• Define good looks across visuals, video, and copy; translate into principles, tone of voice, and storytelling guidelines.
• Review and approve day-to-day output to ensure assets are ad-ready and on-brand.
• Maintain a single source of truth for brand and creative guidelines.
• Build a scalable operating system for creative production with templates, workflows, service levels, and quality checks.
• Implement tiered approach prioritizing bespoke work while enabling fast delivery for always-on needs.
• Streamline approvals so routine work is handled within the function.
• Coach designers, video editors, and copywriters to strengthen craft and speed.
• Run structured critiques and learning sessions to raise the bar.
• Foster a collaborative culture with shared ownership and reliable delivery.
• Partner with marketing to align creative with objectives, metrics, and deadlines.
• Convert campaign briefs into actionable creative plans with timelines and checkpoints.
• Aim for a recognizable ShopeePay brand identity across channels.
• Create a creative system delivering quality and speed at scale.
• Build a self-sufficient team that ships first-pass quality with minimal senior oversight.
• Produce campaigns and assets that improve engagement and brand perception.
