Job summary

Jabil Malaysia is seeking a Cost Accountant to maintain and analyze the company’s cost accounting system. You will work independently with general supervision from management and support cost-related decision making across the organization.

Responsibilities include preparing consolidated financials, reviewing GL balances, and conducting margin analyses to improve profitability. The role emphasizes accuracy, cross‑functional collaboration, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements including balance sheets, profit, loss and subsidiary statements.
• Review and analyses general ledger account balances.
• Prepare monthly reconciliation and balance sheets.
• Analyze data related to overall profit and costing detail.
• Prepare forecast, workcell statements, and margin analysis.
• Train other employees both within and outside the department.
