Job summary

HB Glass & Aluminium is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Malaysia to handle pre-contract and post-contract QS works. You will be responsible for estimating, tendering, preparing tender documents, budgeting and cost analysis, and managing subcontractor awards.

The role involves material sourcing, quotations, site control, and handling progress claims and final accounts. Working hours are Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:00pm with alternate Saturday 8:30am–12:00pm, offering a full-time, long-term position.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• All QS works related to pre-contract and post contract.
• Estimating and tendering.
• Preparation of tender documents.
• Material budgeting, cost estimating, cost analysis.
• Invitation of quotation and negotiation & subcontractor award.
• Material sourcing and procurement activities.
• Preparation of quotation, bills of quantities, site control and site valuation.
• Assessment and valuation of sub-contractor payment.
• Handle progress claim, VO claim, progress payment, final account.
