Job summary

LEE FAH MEE SENDIRIAN BERHAD is seeking an organized, hands-on events and marketing coordinator to manage corporate campaigns, events, and stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will report to the Marketing Head, coordinate budgets, venues, and logistics, and build relationships with government agencies, industry bodies, and partners to ensure timely, professional execution of initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Event Management, Public Relations, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in marketing, events, corporate communications, or public relations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Chinese language proficiency will be an added advantage.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Able to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate corporate events, exhibitions, roadshows, trade fairs, sponsorship activities, product launches, and company functions.
• Manage event timelines, schedules, budgets, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate venue arrangements, booth setup, event logistics, transportation, and equipment requirements.
• Ensure smooth execution of events from preparation to post-event evaluation.
• Liaise with government agencies, industry associations, chambers of commerce, NGOs, educational institutions, event organizers, media representatives, and business partners.
• Support the company's participation in networking events, CSR programs, sponsorship activities, and community engagement initiatives.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders and strategic partners.
• Coordinate transportation, setup, dismantling, and movement of event materials, promotional items, display equipment, and marketing assets.
• Assist with inventory management of marketing and event-related materials.
• Provide hands-on support during events to ensure successful execution.
• Assist in coordinating cross-functional projects involving marketing, sales, production, HR, and management teams.
• Follow up on action items and ensure project timelines are met.
• Prepare proposals, budgets, event schedules, reports, and presentation materials.
• Maintain proper documentation of marketing activities and event records.
• Monitor expenditures and ensure activities remain within approved budgets.
