Job summary

Seagull Cooling Technologies (Asia Pacific) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a cooling tower design engineer to deliver detailed tower structures, water systems, and equipment layout. You will create 3D models, generate BOMs, and prepare factory drawings for production, ensuring compliance with codes and client specs.

You will analyze reports, participate in design reviews, and collaborate with global teams to resolve production challenges, while communicating with suppliers on design inquiries.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in related field
• Interests in performing design by using related software such as AutoCAD
• Interests in producing 3D models
• Experienced in using design and analysis software (Advance Steel, Solidworks) is an added advantage
• Able to understand architectural, civil and M&E drawings
• Good command of English both oral and written
• Ability to speak in Mandarin is an added advantage
• Fresh Graduate is encouraged to apply as training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Working with Design team to deliver detail design of cooling tower structure, water distribution system and the arrangement of cooling tower equipment's as well as to ensure the quality of the design
• Using CAD software to design and produce 3D models of cooling tower
• Generate bill of material (BOM) and factory fabrication drawing of cooling tower parts for production
• Analyze reports in accordance to international codes and client specification in relating to Cooling Towers and Industry Water Circulation Process
• Conduct and participate in structural and detailed design to ensure structure stability and design reliability
• Collaborate with international teams based in different branches and countries
• Responsible in resolving design related problems during production and installation of cooling tower
• To participate and support during design review meeting with client
• To communicate and support suppliers on any cooling tower design enquiry
