Job summary

Air Products Malaysia Sdn is seeking a skilled C&I Engineer to maintain and optimize control and instrumentation systems across plant facilities. You will oversee maintenance activities, monitor equipment reliability, and coordinate with operations to minimize downtime.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Electronic/Control/Instrumentation Engineering with at least four years of related experience, including PLC or DCS familiarity and ability to read control drawings.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electronic/Control/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years experience in related working field.
• Able to read and understand the controls drawing.
• Experience in PLC or DCS system.

Responsibilities

• Carry out proper C&I maintenance (schedule/breakdown) on plants to minimize downtime.
• Supervise C&I contractors on maintenance repairs following procedures and operations.
• Liaise with Operations personnel on timing of preventive C&I maintenance programs and SAP-based preventive maintenance.
• Regular inspection of plant C&I equipment and reporting abnormalities to the plant engineer.
• Ensure proper care of C&I tools and adherence to safety practices.
