Job summary

Colgate seeks a Supply Chain Administrator (Contract Position) to act as the operational backbone for Engineering and Supply Chain at the manufacturing plant. You will manage spare parts inventory, issue POs, source RFQs and coordinate global logistics, while supporting regulatory reporting and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years hands-on experience as an engineering/spare parts administrator or supply chain admin in manufacturing.
• Diploma in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Admin or International Business; SPM with 5 years experience acceptable.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient with computers, spreadsheets and slide presentations; Google Workspace a plus.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end spare parts inventory and replenishment processes.
• Assist engineering store operations during the storekeeper's absence.
• Support stock counts to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
• Issue and manage Purchase Orders and update Ariba tracking files.
• Source RFQs and negotiate with vendors for best value.
• Arrange overseas logistics and track shipments from supplier to receiving bay.
• Execute Goods Receipt and monitor PO approvals to avoid bottlenecks.
• Contribute to DOE reporting via MDMR system weekly.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers and Facility Engineer on PO issuance and project support.
