Job summary

The role requires cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Legal, plus regular contract performance reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in contract management, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in contract management, commercial operations, sales support, business operations, or a related function.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, contract terms, financial principles, and order-management processes.
• Experience in accounts receivable management, credit control, or export credit insurance is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, logical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Review sales contracts to ensure that commercial terms comply with company policies, mitigate risks, and protect business interests.
• Support the Sales team during customer negotiations by providing advice on commercial terms, conditions, and potential risks.
• Review and validate commercial documents, including order terms, liaison letters, and official statements.
• Maintain contract documentation and ensure its accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Coordinate with the Legal department on contract reviews, documentation, and outstanding issues.
• Monitor contract closure exceptions and drive timely resolution and closure.
• Serve as the primary contact for export credit insurance matters, including policy applications and claims.
• Monitor overdue accounts, follow up on customer payment plans, and coordinate with Finance on credit-limit management.
• Review and approve new customer registration information before system setup.
• Prepare regular performance reports and dashboards to track contract status, shipment data, and business performance.
• Analyse commercial and operational data to support management decisions and identify process-improvement opportunities.
