Job summary

Gradiant is seeking an Assistant Manager – Contract & Commercial to oversee end-to-end administration of project contracts and commercial matters across the lifecycle. You will protect the company's contractual rights by ensuring compliance, managing entitlements, variations, claims and payments, and coordinating with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement and Finance.

With 6–9 years of contract & commercial experience in a project-based environment, you will drive procurement support,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business or related field.
• Hands-on experience in contract administration and commercial management.
• Experience with EOT, Variation Orders, contractual claims, payment applications and contract correspondence.
• Proven ability to pursue claims from contractor/EPC side.

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare, issue and maintain contractual correspondence, notices and contract records.
• Prepare and administer Extension of Time (EOT) submissions, Variation Orders (VO), change orders and contractual claims.
• Proactively identify and pursue contractual entitlements and claims against clients.
• Prepare and monitor payment applications, payment certifications and contractual billing milestones.
• Maintain complete, audit-ready contract documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure contractual terms are flowed down to suppliers and subcontractors.
