Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a senior technology leader to drive strategic engagements, design and delivery of global, scalable solutions, and adoption of advanced AI and automation across regions and industries.

You will partner with senior customer leaders to shape roadmaps, expand executive relationships, and mentor enterprise teams while advancing Cisco’s product direction in collaboration with partners and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 12+ years of related experience or Master's with 8+ years.
• Expert level (e.g., CCIE) or equivalent relevant certification encouraged.
• Understanding of and experience in design and implementation of Cisco ACI solutions.
• Experience with Cisco SDA architecture and SDA-related components (DNAC, ISE, Catalyst Center).
• Experience with Cisco SD-WAN and associated components (vManage/vSmart/vBond/vEdge).
• Experience with Catalyst switches and Nexus platforms and Linux-based automation.

Drives technical leadership and innovation within and across technology domains, serving as a trusted advisor for complex, cross-functional initiatives at regional and global scale. Leads the design, planning, and delivery of tailored solutions that address current and future customer needs, leveraging deep expertise in Cisco and third-party technologies, advanced AI, and automation.

Partners with senior customer leaders and cross-functional teams to guide strategic engagements, shape technical adoption journeys, and ensure solutions deliver measurable business value and long-term customer success.

Champions documentation excellence, digital asset creation, and knowledge management, synthesizing customer feedback and industry trends to influence Cisco’s product direction and enhance methodologies.

Expands relationships, cultivates new opportunities, and drives continuous improvement by integrating advanced technologies, sharing best practices, and enabling transformation for both customers and internal teams.

• Champion documentation excellence by setting organizational standards for content quality, visual design, and stakeholder alignment.
• Lead research and integration of advanced AI and automation technologies to enhance project efficiency and delivery outcomes, ensuring AI-informed work is accurate, ethical, and impactful.
• Oversee sophisticated simulations and provide expert support for the most complex technical escalations.
• Lead strategic technical discussions across stakeholders, share Cisco’s product roadmap by integrating customer feedback and market insights, and develop differentiated solutions that drive long-term business value.
• Play a key role in enterprise knowledge management, digital asset creation, and the strategic integration of AI across consulting practices.
• Foster high-level collaboration and a unified customer experience across Cisco, vendors, and partners to achieve strategic alignment and business KPIs.
• Lead global pre-sales initiatives and present transformative solutions, cultivate leadership and innovation within teams and customer organizations, and mentor talent across the enterprise.
• Influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders and industry leaders to drive unified engagement, represent Cisco as a keynote speaker at major industry events, and promote innovation and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

• Typically requires Bachelor's degree in relevant field with 12+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 8+ years of related experience, or equivalent related work experience
• Expert level (e.g., CCIE) or equivalent relevant certification encouraged

• Understanding of and experienced in design and implementation of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) solution – ACI/Nexus/NDI/NDFC.
• Understanding of Data Center architectures, experienced in planning, design & implementation of Data Center infrastructure.
• Understanding of Cisco SDA (Software Defined Access) architecture/solution and experienced in design and implementation of SDA solution that includes DNAC, Wireless, ISE, Catalyst Center, etc. Know the differences between traditional wireless and SDA wireless, experienced in configure device profiling, authorization policy, etc. in Cisco ISE.
• Understanding of and experienced in design and implementation of Cisco SDWAN solution. Understand vManage/vSmart/vBond/vEdge and OMP routing protocol. Understand centralized / local policy configuration via vManage. Understand how zero touch provisioning work in SDWAN.
• Experienced in design and implementation of Catalyst series switches (3560/3750/4500/6500/9000) and Nexus 7000/5000 switches.
• Experienced in coding and Linux OS for network management and automation
