Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to manage health and safety on a construction site in line with local regulations and International Standards. The role involves assessing hazards, conducting inspections, and maintaining the safety programme to protect workers.

The candidate should have a Diploma/Certificate in first line management or a relevant field, with proven experience in site safety supervision and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety management system complies with statutory and local regulations.
• Provide guidance on health and safety legislation and policies to the organization.
• Oversee safety at the construction site and enforce the safety plan.
• Prepare and implement project safety plans and weekly inspections.
• Conduct toolbox meetings with subcontractors and workers on-site.
• Inspect safety equipment, PPE, and fire-fighting equipment for compliance.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and verify their safety procedures.
• Lead investigations of incidents and develop corrective actions.
