Job summary

AZAN ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with safety standards at construction sites in Sarawak, Malaysia.

You will conduct inspections, identify hazards, and advise workers on safe practices and PPE usage to prevent incidents. The role involves preparing safety documentation, participating in toolbox talks, and coordinating with management, engineers and subcontractors on safety matters, including audits and site

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction, Engineering or related field.
• Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) registration/competency with DOSH/JKKP is required.
• Relevant experience in construction site safety is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of occupational safety and health requirements and construction site practices.
• Familiar with HIRARC, risk assessment, toolbox meetings, safety inspections and incident reporting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities for DOSH/JKKP compliance.
• Conduct safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Advise workers on safe practices and PPE use.
• Prepare safety reports and records.
• Investigate accidents, near misses and incidents.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineer and subcontractors on safety matters.
• Assist during safety audits and inspections.
• Carry out other safety duties as assigned.
