Job summary

Suntar International Group is seeking a proactive Site Safety Supervisor to oversee safety at our project sites in Malaysia. The role emphasizes compliance with OSHA, FMA, and DOSH/JKKP regulations, along with leading toolbox talks and safety inductions.

Ideal candidates hold a valid SSS certification, have 3+ years in construction safety, and can travel to sites. The position involves coordinating with project teams and maintaining safety documentation, records, and incident reports.

Qualifications

• Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification recognized by DOSH/JKKP.
• Minimum 3 years of experience asSite Safety Supervisor in construction.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian OSHA and construction safety requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, FMA, and DOSH/JKKP regulations.
• Supervise daily safety activities at construction sites.
• Conduct site inspections and identify hazards.
• Implement corrective actions to eliminate unsafe conditions.
• Prepare safety documentation, permits, and incident reports.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and inductions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and recommend actions.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and coordinate safety matters with PMs/engineers/subcontractors/clients.
• Monitor compliance with risk assessments and method statements.
