KIDE INTERNATIONAL SDN BHD is seeking a Safety and Health Officer / Safety Manager / Project Manager to ensure construction safety in line with DOSH Malaysia regulations and client requirements. The role emphasizes hazard assessment, PTW control, toolbox talks, and incident investigations across a Kuala Lumpur/Cyberjaya project.

Formación

• Diploma or certificate in OSH or related field as mandatory.
• Registered Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with DOSH where required by law.
• Green Card and CIDB registration where applicable.
• Additional certifications such as First Aid, CPR & AED are advantageous.
• Certifications for working at heights, confined space, lifting supervision, scaffold inspection, and fire fighting are beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily site safety inspections and monitor activities for compliance with safe work procedures.
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions and stop work when there is imminent danger.
• Assist in updating and communicating HIRARC and risk controls.
• Monitor Permit-to-Work systems (hot work, confined spaces, high places, lifting, excavation, LOTO, energised work, pressure testing).
• Conduct and participate in toolbox meetings and pre-task planning.
• Carry out routine safety inspections of high-risk areas (scaffolding, ladders, cranes, electrical installations, PPE, etc.).
• Issue and follow up on inspection reports and corrective actions; report incidents promptly.
• Coordinate contractor safety inductions and verify subcontractor competency; ensure site access controls.
• Maintain safety documentation (HIRARC, JSA/JHA, PTW, toolbox talks, inspection reports, training, PPE records).
• Attend and contribute to weekly safety meetings, inductions, and safety training; promote near-miss reporting and safe-work practices.
• Assist in emergency drills, PPE management, welfare facilities, and environmental controls at the site.
