Job summary

May Keong is seeking a Civil Project Engineer for our Negeri Sembilan site. You will assist and report to the Project Director, ensuring construction work follows drawings and the approved work programme, and you will coordinate project technical documents.

Qualifications include a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 2–3 years’ relevant experience, and experience in construction and infrastructure projects. Proficiency in MS Office, project documentation and AutoCAD is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in construction building and infrastructure projects preferred.
• Proactive and able to work with project team to deliver timely.
• Proficient in MS Office, project documentation, AutoCAD.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin-speaking candidates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist and report to Project Director and ensure construction work aligns with drawings and the work programme.
• Prepare Request for Information (RFI) and Method of Statement (MOS) for drawing discrepancies and construction confirmations.
• Coordinate and monitor project technical documents.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and attend site meetings.
• Assist project team with conflict resolution between client, consultants and subcontractors.
• Liaise with local authorities for project-related matters and requirements.
• Willing to travel as project needs.
• Able to work independently.
• Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
