Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. seeks an experienced CSA Construction Manager to lead civil, structural, and architectural oversight for a mission-critical data center project in Klang, Selangor.

You will supervise contractors, ensure compliance with local codes, and coordinate with M&E teams, with potential transition to broader project management paths. The role demands strong stakeholder management, safety discipline, and rigorous QA/QC practices, all on-site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of CSA experience.
• Strong understanding of CSA-MEP interfaces; data center or semiconductor plant experience is advantageous.
• Excellent knowledge of local construction regulations.

Responsibilities

• Represent the client in overseeing all CSA construction activities, ensuring adherence to design intent, programme, safety, and quality standards.
• Monitor and review the main contractor’s execution of structural, architectural, and external works across all project phases.
• Attend site inspections, technical meetings, and progress reviews to ensure timely delivery of CSA scope.
• Review and approve contractor-submitted QA/QC procedures, inspection test plans (ITPs), and method statements.
• Support environmental health and safety oversight aligned with local safety standards and corporate EHS protocols.
• Facilitate coordination between CSA and M&E teams, particularly for builder’s works.
• Support M&E construction and commissioning phases by managing interface issues and ensuring readiness.
• Participate in change order assessments, cost reviews, and technical clarifications.

This role involves supervising contractors, ensuring compliance with local regulations and design standards, and coordinating closely with M&E teams.
