Job summary

Majestic Gen Sdn Bhd is seeking a Finance & Accounts Executive to handle full-cycle accounts payable and receivable, billing processing, and maintain accurate accounting records. You will support monthly reporting, audits, and cash flow monitoring within the developer/construction context.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 1–3 years of experience (freshs welcome), and strong Excel skills. Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates welcome).
• Experience in development or construction industry is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Process billing, debit/credit notes and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Maintain accounting records and update in the system.
• Assist in monthly management reporting, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support statutory audits by preparing schedules and liaising with auditors.
• Assist in cash flow monitoring and banking transactions.
• Coordinate with banks on documentation and follow-ups.
• Assist in budgeting and variance analysis for projects and internal reporting.
• Support tax compliance and coordination with tax agents.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required by management.
