Job summary

CAPITAL BLISS SDN. BHD. is seeking motivated individuals to join our team for civil engineering projects in Malaysia.

The role focuses on engineering management, project coordination, progress claims and subcontractor claims to ensure smooth project execution and effective cost control. The candidate will coordinate site progress and schedules, prepare progress claims, review subcontractor claims, manage variation orders, and liaise with clients and consultants.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Experience in engineering management, construction project coordination and claims.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor construction activities, site progress and project schedules.
• Prepare and submit progress claims to clients and Main Contractors.
• Review subcontractors' progress claims and payment documents.
• Prepare and follow up on variation orders (VO), including measurements, supporting documents and claim submissions.
• Perform quantity take-off and verify work quantities for progress claims and payment assessments.
• Review engineering drawings, project specifications and relevant technical documents.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, site personnel and subcontractors on project progress, claims and technical matters.
• Monitor claim submission status and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Assist with other ad hoc duties assigned by management.
