Take ownership for leading challenging projects

The Consortium Interface Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and coordinating all technical interfaces across multiple stakeholders involved in complex subsea oil and gas projects. This role ensures seamless integration of engineering, construction, and commissioning activities within a consortium framework, while maintaining transparency, mitigating risks, and safeguarding project timelines and budgets.

As a Consortium Interface Manager – Subsea Projects, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering a systematic, and process-compliant interface management roadmap across the engineering groups and external customers.
  • Developing and maintaining interface registers, matrices, and management plans.
  • Facilitating interface meetings, workshops, and reviews to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
  • Promoting open, transparent, and proactive communication between all parties.
  • Acting as the central point of contact for interface-related queries and conflict resolution.
  • Ensuring clear, concise and consistent messaging and documentation across stakeholders.
  • Identifying potential interface risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitoring interface dependencies and escalates schedule or scope risks to leadership.
  • Supporting change management and impact analysis related to interface issues.
  • Reviewing engineering documents and specifications to validate compliance with interface requirements.
  • Ensuring technical alignment across subsea systems, including SURF, SPS, topside integration, and installation scopes.
  • Coordinating with engineering, operations, and commissioning teams to ensure consistency across project phases.
  • Communicating status of the Interfaces to the Project Consortium/Team.
  • Driving actively to close out raised interfaces.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Structural, or Subsea).
  • Have Minimum 8-10 years of experience in engineering with a significant portion of more than 5 years of offshore/subsea oil and gas projects.
  • Proven experience in managing interfaces in medium/large-scale subsea projects.
  • Have strong understanding of subsea technologies, installation practices, and project lifecycle.
  • Be familiar with interface management tools and platforms (e.g., interface registers, dashboards).
  • Have Project management certification (Prince, PMP, PMI) is a plus.
