Job summary

OCBC Bank Malaysia is seeking an experienced risk and regulatory professional to uplift compliance standards within the department. You will perform risk and regulatory reviews, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and help ensure adherence to RCSA, CSA, and policy guidelines.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience in risk management and an ability to meet tight deadlines, with strong written and oral communication skills to advise and guide teams across the organisation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Uplift compliance and risk standards of the department in accordance with internal and external guidelines/policies.
  • Perform compliance and risk reviews (RCSA, CSA, control testing) in a timely manner.
  • Keep abreast of new/revised guidelines and policies; perform gap analysis and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate audit reviews, queries and responses.
  • Review Business Continuity planner and participate in disaster recovery exercises as part of business continuity management.
  • Liaise with internal/external stakeholders and Group/Head Office to implement action plans and mitigation controls.
  • Perform follow-up where necessary.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Uplift compliance and risk standards of the department in accordance to internal and external guidelines / policies.

  • Keep abreast of new / revised guidelines and polices, perform gap analysis and ensure that the department complies with the requirements.

  • Candidate with minimum 2 years of experience in risk management and regulatory guidelines, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Independently discharge duties without much supervision and able to provide effective advice and guidance.
  • Possess positive work attitude and good understanding of regulatory requirements in the subject of payments.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
