Job summary

Medivet Sdn. Bhd is seeking a dedicated driver to transport pets and support hospital transport needs. The role requires at least 5 years of driving experience in transportation or e-hailing, and a valid Malaysian Class D license.

You must be medically fit with the ability to handle pets up to 30kg while maintaining excellent time management and customer service. You will load and unload animals safely, communicate ETA to owners, and assist with dispatch and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years driving experience in transportation or e-hailing services.
• Valid Malaysian driving license (Class D). GDL may be required depending on vehicle type.
• Must be medically fit with good vision and health, able to carry large pet carriers up to 30kg+ if required.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Sound administrative and dispatch skills.
• Pet owner or loves pets with basic understanding of pet body language.
• Able to use WhatsApp, Google location and other technologies to support work activities.
• Able to work flexible hours including early mornings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and drive company vehicles (cars, vans and 4WDs) safely and legally.
• Manage and complete job schedules assigned by the hospital secretary.
• Safe transit: drive smoothly to prevent motion sickness or injury to animals.
• Handle animals during loading/unloading, including senior dogs or anxious pets.
• Sanitize transport area and crates between trips using pet-safe disinfectants.
• Provide ETA updates to owners and, when needed, chaperone in vet clinic or airport.
• Ensure vehicle air conditioning is in peak condition and serviced on time.
• Provide professional customer service during collection or delivery of pets to homes.
• Carry out dispatch and other tasks assigned by the hospital secretary.
