Job summary

GENESIS LIFE CARE CENTRE SDN. BHD. is seeking an attentive activity coordinator to engage elderly residents in diverse daily and festive activities.

You will manage group activities, coordinate on-site events, and ensure a safe, enjoyable environment while communicating with residents and their families. Candidate should have a SPM or Diploma in Counselling, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia skills, and a collaborative, learning-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• At least SPM or Diploma in Counselling.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia required.
• Fresh graduates encouraged.
• Advantage in knowing other languages.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities for residents such as cooking, colouring, etc.
• Conduct activities in a group for patients.
• Organize on-site activities and festival events.
• Ensure a safe and fun environment for all residents.
• Communicate with residents and their families.
• Documentation and daily activity updates.
• Lifting and transferring patients from bed/wheelchair to Activity room.
