Job summary

Managedcare Sdn Bhd seeks a compassionate eldercare coordinator to plan and run social enrichment activities for seniors in Kuala Lumpur. You will observe participant mood and engagement, prepare materials, and ensure a safe, clean environment.

Coordinate with caregivers and team, supporting mobility needs and adapting activities for diverse clients. Ideal candidates will have a healthcare-related diploma/degree and 1–2 years in eldercare, with strong English/Bahasa Malaysia/Mandarin

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Healthcare / Nursing / Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy / Psychology / Gerontology / Social Work
• 1–2 years experience in eldercare, daycare centre, or related setting
• Ability to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and/or Mandarin
• Creative in planning meaningful and stimulating activities
• Observant and attentive to seniors’ emotional and physical changes
• Able to manage group activities and handle challenging behaviors calmly
• Patient, compassionate, and energetic personality
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving license

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct Social Enrichment Activity for elderly clients
• Observe and document clients’ participation, mood, and response to activities
• Prepare activity materials and maintain a safe, clean and engaging environment
• Maintain cleanliness at the Vitality Hub and tidy up after each SEA session
• Communicate with caregivers/family members on clients’ progress and participation
• Work closely with team members and hub manager
• Assist elderly clients safely considering their mobility and care needs
• Any other tasks assigned by the management team

Job Requirement

• · Minimum 1–2 years experience in eldercare, daycare center, or related setting


• · Ability to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and/or Mandarin as this roles will required to liaise with our diverse client base and partners.


• · Creative in planning meaningful and stimulating activities


• · Observant and attentive to seniors’ emotional and physical changes


• · Able to manage group activities and handle challenging behaviors calmly


• · Patient, compassionate, and energetic personality


• · Possess a valid Malaysian driving license appropriate for the company vehicle.
