Job summary

Maxis is seeking passionate Community Managers to join our team in Selangor, Perak, and Johor. You will engage with residents, promote Maxis/Hotlink products, and visit buildings daily to foster partnerships with retailers and generate leads.

You will organize weekly events, handle permits and logistics, manage budgets, and ensure proper booth setups with POSM materials. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English with a diploma or relevant sales/marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage with residents in target buildings daily to promote Maxis/Hotlink products.
• Meet retailers in target buildings to discuss partnerships and drive sales.
• Organize weekly events in target areas to raise brand awareness and generate leads.
• Manage event permits and approvals from authorities and booth setups.
• Arrange logistics for events, including venue, equipment, and budget adherence.
• Obtain building management approvals for booth setup and POSM placement.
• Maintain professional POSM displays and ensure fibre kit installations are approved.
• Prepare daily reports on visits, retailer interactions, and outcomes.
• Create location decks capturing residents reached, contacts, and leads.

We are looking for passionate and energetic Community Managers to join Maxis team in Selangor, Perak, and Johor!

Job Scope:

• Community Engagement
• Visit target buildings / apartments / residential daily to engage with residents and promote Maxis / Hotlink products and services.
• Meet with retailers in target buildings to discuss partnership opportunities and incentivize them to sell Maxis products.
• Organize weekly events in target areas to create brand awareness and generate leads.
• Event and Permit Management
• Secure necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities.
• Make logistical arrangements for event setup (e.g., booking venue, equipment rentals).
• Manage event budget and ensure adherence to company guidelines.
• Obtain approval from building management for booth setup.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed and valid before booth setup.
• Ensure proper placement of POSM materials (e.g., posters, brochures) in all visited buildings, with approval from building management.
• Maintain a clean and professional display of POSM materials.
• Promote the benefits of Maxis Fibre to residents in target buildings.
• Secure approval from building management for the installation of Fibre Optic kits.
• Reporting and Documentation
• Prepare daily reports on building visits, retailer interactions, and event outcomes.
• Create decks after each location visit, capturing key information such as number of residents reached, retailer contacts, and potential sales leads.

Requirements:

• Minimum diploma or relevant experience in sales or marketing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Valid Malaysian driver's license and own transportation.
