Job summary

Ruder Finn Asia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive communications assistant to support the preparation and distribution of press materials, maintain media lists, and monitor coverage. You will gain exposure to client research, industry insights, and event coordination under supervision.

The role emphasizes strong English writing, solid research skills, and the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines while developing a current knowledge base in communications and media relations.

Qualifications

• Degree and/or post-graduate degree in PR / Political Science / Media/Communication or equivalent.
• Language skills: Fluency in English. Command of another language is considered a plus
• Knowledge and interest in Communications
• Computer skills: MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Good communication and writing skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and perform under tight deadlines
