Job summary

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Penang, Malaysia, for a Coffee Consultant. The Coffee Consultant will manage the end-to-end customer experience, including establishing connections with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored coffee solutions. The role involves advising on coffee products and equipment, conducting product demonstrations, supporting customer training initiatives, and ensuring client satisfaction through post-sales service. Additional responsibilities include fostering brand awareness, as well as contributing to sales growth through expertise and excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with coffee products, brewing techniques, and operation of coffee‑making equipment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and understand client needs
• Sales acumen and the ability to identify customer needs and suggest suitable solutions
• Experience in conducting product demonstrations and training sessions
• Self‑motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team
• Flexibility to work on‑site at the Penang location with potential travel to client sites within the region
• Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or the food and beverage industry is an advantage
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an added advantage
