Job summary

UCT in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will ensure products meet safety, quality and delivery standards while performing 5S, production runs, inspections, and metrology measurements using calipers, CMM, and related equipment.

Expect to operate CNC milling machines, set up work orders, interpret drawings and CAM data, and maintain tools, jigs, and fixtures. Shift work and continuous learning are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical/Technical Machining or related field.
• Tooling/mechanical major is preferred.
• Familiar with CNC milling operations and quality standards.
• Experience in semiconductor/manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machine with high precision to manufacture tool components.
• Set up CNC machines for subsequent work orders.
• Select and adjust CAM parameters and cutters.
• Manufacture emergency tools components and maintain equipment.
• Maintain jigs/fixtures and solve CNC-related issues.
• Coordinate CNC manufacturing schedule and on-the-job training for new hires.
