The role involves nesting, troubleshooting, and maintaining program documentation while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the production line.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing CNC programs from drawings.
• Ability to read CAD drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with nesting and cutting processes.
• Knowledge of CAM software and tooling selection.

Responsibilities

• Review technical drawings, CAD models, and specs for switchgear components.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to meet project goals.
• Develop and optimize CNC programs for punching, bending, and laser cutting.
• Perform nesting to maximize material usage and minimize waste.
• Select cutting tools, toolpaths, and machining parameters for quality output.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs, tooling setups, and processes.
• Guide machine operators on setup, tool changes, and program execution.
• Maintain and update CNC programs for revisions and improvements.
• Document CNC programs, tooling setups, and process parameters for future reference.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to identify optimization opportunities.
